Terms of Service

Welcome to Solfeo. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Solfeo.

1. What Solfeo is

Solfeo is an AI service that turns study material into songs, flashcards, concept maps, and other study tools. You provide the source material (notes, PDFs, images, or topics you type); we generate study content from it.

2. Your account

• You must be 13 or older to use Solfeo.
• You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Don’t share your account.
• You’re responsible for anything that happens under your account.

3. What you upload

You keep ownership of anything you upload or paste into Solfeo. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to use that material solely to generate your songs and study tools, and to operate the service.

You agree not to upload:

• Content you don’t have the right to use (copyrighted material you didn’t create or license).
• Content that’s illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or promotes self-harm or violence.
• Other people’s personal data without their consent.

4. What we generate

Songs, lyrics, flashcards, and other content generated from your material are yours to use for personal study. You may download, share, and use them however you like, as long as you follow these Terms.

AI output can be inaccurate or incomplete. Don’t rely on Solfeo’s output for high-stakes decisions (medical, legal, financial). Verify critical facts against your source material.

5. Subscriptions & billing

• Paid plans bill monthly and renew automatically until you cancel.
• You can cancel any time from your account settings. After you cancel, you’ll retain access through the end of the current billing period.
• All payments are processed by Stripe. Refunds are handled case-by-case within 7 days of a charge — email us if something went wrong.
• Track credits and monthly track quotas reset at the start of each billing cycle. Unused credits do not carry over, except for one-time purchases which remain available until used.

6. Acceptable use

Don’t attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, overwhelm, or exploit the service. Don’t use Solfeo to generate content that violates anyone’s rights. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service or its pricing.

7. Sharing & referrals

When you share a song or mixtape with another user, they gain access to that content. Referral bonuses are granted in good faith — fraudulent referral activity (self-referrals, disposable email signups) may be reversed and can result in account suspension.

8. Termination

You can delete your account any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, with notice when possible.

9. Disclaimer

Solfeo is provided “as is.” We don’t guarantee that it will always be available, error-free, or produce perfect output. To the extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, Solfeo’s total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months. We’re not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. You agree that any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of Solfeo will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. If changes are material, we’ll email you. Continuing to use Solfeo after an update means you accept the new Terms.
